Do I have to log something every day?
No. GetMyMood works whether you check in every day or just now and then. Even a quick note when you remember is enough to start seeing how your cycle and how you feel line up — there is no streak to keep and no pressure to be perfect.
Will GetMyMood remind me to log?
Only if you want it to. You can set gentle, optional reminders — for your period, a daily check-in, or a change of phase — and turn any of them off whenever you like. No nagging, and no streak to keep up.
Do I need to be online to use GetMyMood?
No. You can log your period, mood, and symptoms offline, and GetMyMood syncs once you are back online. Deleting all of your data does need a connection, so it can be removed everywhere it is stored.
How soon will I start to notice patterns?
It varies, but most patterns become easier to see after two or three months of logging. The more consistently you note how you feel, the clearer the picture — while remembering your cycle is only ever one part of what shapes a given day.
Is my data sold or used to train AI?
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your health information to advertise to you. The only use beyond running the app is an optional analytics setting you can switch off. For the complete picture — including how your data relates to AI — our Privacy Policy is the source of truth.
Does GetMyMood work alongside my doctor?
GetMyMood does not replace medical care, but the dated record of periods, symptoms, and moods you log can make it easier to describe what you have noticed to a clinician. For anything severe, unusual, or concerning, please reach out to a qualified professional.
Does GetMyMood give medical advice or diagnose conditions?
No. GetMyMood is for self-tracking and cycle awareness only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If something feels severe, unusual, persistent, or concerning, please talk to a qualified healthcare professional.
Is GetMyMood a fertility or birth control app?
No. GetMyMood is built for cycle awareness and self-tracking, not contraception, fertility treatment, or pregnancy detection. It can show estimated fertile or ovulation timing when enabled, but those estimates should not be used to prevent pregnancy or confirm ovulation.
GetMyMood is designed for cycle awareness and self-tracking. It is not medical advice, birth control, fertility treatment, or a diagnosis tool.
